It's turn for Michael Carke




















Ricky ponting the Australian skipper was rested for the remaining one day international matches against New Zealand. After back to back defeat against South Africa and New Zealand Australian Cricket Board took this decision and they also said that Michael Clarke will be the captain for the rest of the series against New Zealand. Australian Cricket Board on Tuesday informed that ponting needs some break and he will continue in the next test series against South Africa.

Strauss century




















On the first match against West Indies England's New captain Andrew Strauss Scored a remarkable 103 of just 116 balls. In addition to that Ian bell and Owasis shah scored half centuries which took England team into a commanding position. On the other side Bowlers also showed their outstanding performance. Monty Panesar took three wickets and Andrew Flintoff the England All rounder also damaged the west Indian Innings. The Combined team Effort took the England Team to a 217 run victory against West Indies. Andrew Strauss the England Captain Was awarded the Man of the match for his excellence.
