Balaji Recalled
















Tamil Nadu opening Bowler Lakshmipathi Balaji Recalled for the Sri Lankan Series. Munaf Patel is injured and he is replaced with Balaji for the rest of the series. Balaji is a 27 year old bowler who has impressed the Indian Fans with his excellent pace and its time to prove his talent to the selection committee. Munaf Patel is suffering from groin injury and he was also left for the next series against New Zealand.

Malinga In the Squad




















Lasith malinga the Sri lankan fast bowler is included for the upcoming T20 match against India. Sri lankan Selectors have announced this yesterday and there are also some new faces in the Sri lankan Squad. They are Jehan Mubarak, Dilhara Lokuhettige and Malinga Bandara. Sri lanka is going to play their T20 match against India on February 10. Upul Tharanga the Srilankan all rounder was not given a chance yet and he is likely to play in the fourth or fifth ODI against India.

Donated Funds





















England players donated half of their match fees as funds to the Mumbai Victims.  We all know that Mumbai suffered hard after terror attacks (26/11)  and more than 200 people died due to this attack. Many people were injured and still they are taking treatments in the hospitals. By the time England team is going to play their test matches in India . The England cricket board on Wednesday announced that the half of their match fees will be donated as funds to the Mumbai Victims.

Ind Eng Deal















Hi pals!!

It's happy news for both the Indian and England Cricket fans. Ya!! Both Indian cricket board and England cricket board agrees a two year deal for the Indian Premier league Matches. England cricket Board announced this happy news yesterday. They told that England players are ready to play in the Indian premier League for this year and the next year. At first the England Cricket board announced that the players will play for a minimum period of two weeks but the Chief of Indian premier League Lalit Modi said that this two week period is too low to play enough matches. So the England cricket board revised the statements and they announced that the England players will play in the Indian premier league matches for a minimum period of three weeks. Both the cricket boards agreed to this Statement and they also signed a joint agreement.

Shoaib Malik's Captaincy


















Till yesterday Shoaib Malik was the captain for Pakistan Cricket team. Shoaib Malik tried his level best for his team but he can't continue anymore because Pakistan cricket Board yesterday decided that Younus Khan would be a better captain for the Pakistan Cricket team so they replaced Shoaib Malik with Younus Khan. Shoaib Malik has scored more than 4700 runs in his ODI career and younus Khan has scored more than 5300 runs with an average of 34.2 in his one day internation career. Shoaib Malik decided to quit his captaincy and Younus Khan will be expected to accept the captaincy soon!!

It's turn for Michael Carke




















Ricky ponting the Australian skipper was rested for the remaining one day international matches against New Zealand. After back to back defeat against South Africa and New Zealand Australian Cricket Board took this decision and they also said that Michael Clarke will be the captain for the rest of the series against New Zealand. Australian Cricket Board on Tuesday informed that ponting needs some break and he will continue in the next test series against South Africa.

Strauss century




















On the first match against West Indies England's New captain Andrew Strauss Scored a remarkable 103 of just 116 balls. In addition to that Ian bell and Owasis shah scored half centuries which took England team into a commanding position. On the other side Bowlers also showed their outstanding performance. Monty Panesar took three wickets and Andrew Flintoff the England All rounder also damaged the west Indian Innings. The Combined team Effort took the England Team to a 217 run victory against West Indies. Andrew Strauss the England Captain Was awarded the Man of the match for his excellence.

Mahela left out of T20



















Mahela Jeyawardena the Sri Lankan Skipper and Sri Lankan Wicket keeper batsman Kumar Sangakkara were left out of the T20 squad against India. Sri Lankan board decided to pick some new faces and Lasith malinga the Sri Lankan fast bowler is also included in the squad. Some of the new faces in the Sri Lankan squad are Indika de Saram, Malinga Bandara, Jeevantha Kulatunga, Dilhara Lokuhettige and Mahela Udawatte. After a thumping victory against Pakistan, Sri Lanka is ready for another victory against India.

2-1 series Win





















After back to back victory South African team is in cloud9. In the last match against Australia South Africans made a historic win against Australia. South Africa won the match by 8 wickets. After loosing two early wickets (Gibbs and Kallis) South African team managed to make a 150 runs partnership for the third wicket and clinched the series 2-1. Hasim Amla and AB DE Villers scored 82 and 80 respectively. AB DE Villers got the man of the match Award for his amazing performance and after Back to back defeat Australian captain made an open talk to the media that the Australian players has to work more to get their form Back!!
